At Kurnell, about 35km south of Sydney, on Botany Bay.  Site of the first recorded landing by Europeans on the east coast of Australia in 1770.  Now part of Botany Bay National Park.  Follow the sign posted walking track past a series of historical monuments and points of interest and an easy bushwalking track which highlights the area’s diverse plant species.  Large reserve with picnic and barbecue areas.  Visitor centre includes a shop and displays high lightning the history and natural features of the area.
