The town of Wickepin, 40km north-east of Narrogin, retains a number of buildings dating back to 1910.
The small town of Yealering, 30km north-east of Wickepin, boasts a number of original buildings shaded by huge trees planted by the district pioneers.
A short walk away is the beautiful gush-clad lake Yearlering, which attracts many waterfowl and is a popular swimming and boating venue.
Harrismith, south-east of Wickepin, is noted for its springtime wildflower displays which attract coach tours in September-October each year.
