About 468km south of Katherine. A small community which is connected with the Northern Territory’s revolutionary days. It is a popular stopover for the travelers, and has camping and other accommodation. In the grounds of historic Mataranka Homestead you can swim in a thermal pool set in lush tropical rainforest.
